The Process

1
Let's Talk
You’re on my website, so click "Let's Talk" to arrange to connect, either on the phone, video call or in person so we can get to know each other and you get to see if I am the right celebrant for you. I will explain the process, the legal requirements and how I will create a warm, memorable and personalised ceremony for you.
2
Book Me In
This is when we sign the NOIM, the first legal document, together with the Agreement which includes my commitment to you. There is also a $300 deposit to be paid so I can lock in the date for you.
Once you have booked me, I will send you my resources pack with lots of suggestions including sample readings, vows and music…lots of inspiration ready for when we meet to plan your ceremony.
3
Planning & Crafting Your Wedding Ceremony
This is where the fun starts, depending on your choice of ceremony, we will meet again for me to find out more about your love story and how you want it to be shared on your wedding day.
This is where I craft a beautiful ceremony personalised to you, perhaps telling your story, or just talking about the amazing things you love about each other. If you need any guidance or assistance with vows, I am here to help. I will send you a draft of your ceremony so you can review it and let me know if you want to make any additions. This is your ceremony and needs to be the perfect ceremony for you.
4
Final Run through before the Big Day
In the week before the wedding, we meet again for a final run through of all the details. We usually sign the Declaration of No Legal Impediment, and the final balance for my services is due at this time.
5
Your Wedding Day
I will arrive 1 hour before the ceremony to ensure that everything is set up and in place for your arrival and will be there to greet you, your family and friends, and have the honour of being part of the most wonderful day of your lives. After the ceremony I will register your marriage with BDM and order your marriage certificate (BDM costs) and when it arrives – send it on to you with some certified copies for you to use.
